Margaret Hock died on October 25, 2017 at her Forest Hills home less than two weeks after her 104th birthday.

A native of Brooklyn, Margaret (Gulaskie) was born on October 16, 1913, the second of what was to become a big happy brood of nine children.  All her life she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially summers in Montauk.

Margaret worked as an operator for Bell Telephone for forty years until her retirement in 1978.  She was a faithful parishioner of St. Bernard’s Church in Levittown where she lived for four decades and at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Forest Hills in recent years.

Margaret is pre deceased by her husband David, her son John and her granddaughter Deborah.  She is survived by four grandchildren, Robert (Michelle), David and Joshua as well as her granddaughter Sandy Justman (Alex).  She has three great granddaughters, Claire, Maggie and Willa.  She has two sisters, Elsie Moskowski and Theresa Hull.  She also has many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday October 30th at Fox Funeral Home in Forest Hills from 4pm to 8pm.  A funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Church also in Forest Hills on Tuesday October 31, 2017 at 9:45am.
