Emelia (Emu) D’Rozario, 85, of Kew Gardens, New York passed away on Thursday, March 29th in Forest Hills, New York. She was born to Lawrence and Maria Rodrick on November 16, 1932 in Padrikanda, Dhaka, Bangladesh, and married to late Maurice D’Rozario. Mrs. D’Rozario is survived by her sibling, Sister Lawrence, Missionaries of Charity; son, Vincent (Ajit); daughter, Irene (Moni); daughter-in-law, Stella (Bharoti); son-in-law, Glenn; her caring niece, Sheila Cicilia, among many other nieces and nephews; five grandchildren: Goretti, Maria, Pauline, Andrea and Jeremy; and a great-granddaughter, Maya Lily.

Emu would like everyone to know that her work is done on this earth; she is now pain free and very happy to be reunited with her mother, beloved husband, her two sisters and her dearest son.

Please join us after the services at the St. John cemetery for lunch at the Haveli Restaurant.  116-33 Queens Blvd. Kew Gardens, New York.
