Obituary of Aurora G. Castro
Aurora G. “Nenette” Castro was born in 1939. In the Philippines, she worked as a pharmacist, and when she moved here to the United States, she became a medical technologist. Aurora will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Carmelita, Zenaida, and Bernadette. She will be most fondly remembered by her lifelong friend, Procy.
Nenette loved to go outside and walk everywhere. With her active lifestyle, she explored so many restaurants, attractions, shops, and hotspots of NYC. Nenette certainly loved to bring her outdoor experience back home by gathering her wonderful souvenirs and collectibles from the many gift shops she visited. Of course, Nenette loved to share all this with everyone. She never missed an opportunity to offer gifts, especially food.
Nenette was a loving soul who always had something to talk about and share with us. She will be sorely missed here, but she will finally meet the Lord face to face as she has longed for. May Nenette join along with the saints and angels in watching over us as we seek to dwell in the Kingdom of the Almighty God.
