Vivian Garcia Obituary

Family and Friends,

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Vivian, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Vivian passed away peacefully after a brave 4+ year battle with cancer.

Vivian was born in Guánica, Puerto Rico, to Maria and Miguel. She moved to New York at 11 years old with her mother and sister, Nancy, to start a new life. In 1974, she married Felix, and together they had two children, Marc and David. Vivian was a dedicated executive assistant to various corporations and small businesses during her career and retired a little over 10 years ago.  That said, the role she valued above all else was that of mother.

She is survived by her two sons and her cherished grandchildren, Maddox and Mila.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to The Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, in Vivian’s memory, at: https://events.lustgarten.org/viviangarcia
