Isidro Fernando Garcia, age 67, passed away Saturday morning, September 20, 2025, in Jamaica Hospital. He was born on May 5, 1958, to Felino Sr. Garcia and Dionisia Garcia in Ebus, Guagua, Pampanga, Philippines. His childhood instilled a lifelong passion for doing his best for his family, and he loved to cherish his moments with anyone close to him.
Isidro was an affectionate, dedicated, and hardworking father, husband, brother, uncle, and friend. He raised his family in Queens, New York. He was a skilled carpet installer for 20 years. Beyond his work, he is a loving father to Alexandra Garcia, Paul Garcia, and Sam Garcia, a devoted husband to Weena Garcia. He is also survived by his brothers Teresito Garcia, Rafael Garcia, Felino Jr. Garcia, and Nicolas Garcia.
Isidro was a loyal, good man and a talented singer and cook. He had a beautiful voice that you will remember in karaoke and a joyful laugh that you could never forget. He loved spending time with his family, sharing good food, telling jokes, and making memories. Isidro continually spread happiness, and that is his legacy for sharing kindness, compassion, wisdom, and good humor.
He shared his pride in Filipino food, good music, and celebrating life in the moment. Isidro was always a supportive and loving family member who did his best to provide and be present. His legacy will carry on forever in our hearts.
A memorial will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, and Friday, September 26, 2025, at 5:00pm -8:00pm at Fox Funeral Home. All family and friends are welcome.
