Louise Marie Hueppe Beemish
1938 – 2025
Louise Marie Hueppe Beemish passed away peacefully on October 23rd, embraced by the love she so freely gave. She was 87 years old.
A nurse by calling and by heart, Louise devoted her life to bringing comfort where there was pain and calm where there was fear. As a hospice nurse, she guided patients and families through life’s most tender passages with grace, gentleness, and unwavering compassion. Later, she continued her vocation as a school nurse at Saint John’s University in Queens, and then as a call nurse, offering her kindness wherever it was needed—always with a warm smile and a listening ear.
Her faith was her constant companion. Rooted in her Catholic upbringing, it shaped her days and sustained her spirit. She found joy in simple acts of giving, laughter shared among friends, and moments of quiet prayer.
Louise’s greatest joy was her family. She is lovingly remembered by her five children—F. Robert Beemish, Jennifer Rose Beemish, Edwin Daniel Beemish, Marie Louise Beemish, and Ann Catherine Beemish Hainault—and her extended family through marriage, Evalyn Beemish and Patrick Hainault. Her six grandchildren—Cori Claire Beemish, Evalyn Marie Beemish, Amber Violet Beemish, Edwin Daniel Beemish Jr., Frederick Roman Hainault, and Jade Rose Hainault—were ever in her heart and cherished beyond measure.
Her warmth filled every room; her kindness lifted every soul. She believed deeply in others and had a gift for seeing the good in all people, offering words of encouragement just when they were needed most.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life at Fox Funeral Home in Forest Hills on Friday, November 14th, from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church in Forest Hills on Wednesday, October 29th, at 9:30 a.m. Louise will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery, beside her loving family and her beloved brother, Frederick E. Hueppe.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to organizations supporting dementia research, women rebuilding their lives, veterans in need, or families facing hardship—causes that reflect the compassion and generosity that guided her every day.
Louise lived with grace, gave without measure, and believed in the goodness of others. Her spirit will forever remain a quiet light in the hearts of all who knew her.
