Fredrick K. Bischoff, 64, passed away on May 14, 2026. Born on September 3, 1961, Freddy was a lifelong New Yorker who grew up in Forest Hills and was known for his warmth, humor, and deep commitment to family and community.

Freddy was a proud graduate of St. John's University, Class of 1983, and a member of the St. John’s Soccer Hall of Fame. He served with honor as a (retired) firefighter with FDNY Ladder Company 129, Flushing. He was also a proud member of the Firefighter Steuben Association of New York and the Gottscheer Association.

Fredrick is survived by his beloved wife, Cinzia; his father, Erwin; (his mother, Anna, deceased); his brothers, Steve (Diana) and Bob (Vicky); his niece and nephew, Tori and Max ; his children, Christina (PJ) and Francesca (Duri) ; and his grandchildren, Lucian and Slade. The self-appointed “Mayor of Metro,” loved making people laugh, helping others, and spending time with his cherished dog, Gigi. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
