Obituary of Patricia Manzi

Please share a memory of Patricia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Patricia Manzi passed away peacefully on December 14th, 2024 in Bellmore, New York.   She was born Patricia Stroud on October 15th,1939 in Oceanside, New York.  Youngest child of Earl and Mary Stroud.  Beloved sister of Mary Jane Stroud (Everingham) (deceased).  She spent her early and teen years in Kingston, Ontario.  She would ultimately end up meeting her lifelong friends at Bellevue School of Nursing. She, along with Gerard Thomas Manzi, would raise their children, Peter, Cynthia and Patrick in Forest Hills, NY. Beloved grandmother (“Grammie”) to Shane, Isabella, Casey, Lily, Cole, Kelly and Thomas.  She found a second chance at life with her partner of over 20 years, Joe McPartlin, (deceased 2018).  They travelled the world visiting such places multiple times including Italy, Croatia and Greece.  When she retired from work in 2006 she relocated from Forest Hills to the sublime hamlet of Sag Harbor.  Spending time with friends, going out for burgers and a movie with Joe and spending Thanksgiving holidays with her children and grandchildren gave her endless joy.   An avid dog lover, she kept a biscuits in her bag in case she would come upon a hungry canine.   She was loved by all.   Deservedly so.   In our hearts forever………..
