Mrs. Rita Rejzek of Forest Hills Gardens passed away peacefully in her home from natural causes on January 11th, 2017.
The only daughter of parents Ludwig and Maria von Fronius and widow to Vilem Rejzek, Baroness Rita von Fronius Rejzek was originally from Hungary and later migrated to the United States after spending a short time in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She was a highly revered and respected resident of the Queens community for over 50 years. Mrs. Rejzek was employed by Sheraton Hotels where she was the director of hospitality.
Mrs. Rejzek was passionate about animals and was especially fond of dogs, cats, and horses. In her early years, she was an avid equestrian. Additionally, she was proud of her cultural accomplishments and mastered seven different languages.
Visitation for Mrs. Rejzek will be held from 3-6pm on Saturday, January 21st, 2017 at Fox Funeral Home in Forest Hills. A prayer service will be held at 5pm.
