PJ
As we visited you a few weeks back, your eyes opened up and you flashed that smile and said "If you want to be jolly and free, Come and drink with me, Cause you will never meet a man like me!
Wow so true.....
Keep us laughing from above.
You brought laughter and love to all.

A piece of work! PJ enjoyed life, made people happy and as a kid and adult made time for me!
He was a class act who saw the world with humor!
Memories will be cherished!

I remember Kevin taking me home to meet the parents and what could have been a scary experience turned into 40 years of knowing this wonderful man who I'm proud to call my father-in-law. I'm sure there's some great jokes being told at the big reunion in the sky. Until we meet again R.I.P PJ. You will be missed

When I heard the sad news - I thought of PJ & his generosity of himself to others as I benefitted from an extra portion of his daughters sandwiches each day at college, the fact I was his daughters mate & he wanted me to spend time with him & a load of old men playing Bingo at the Social club & the VIP travel methods of him carrying me on his back when I hurt my foot in NY – I thought ---- but when I looked at the message my dear friend Bernie wrote, I thought of the loss of a father from the eyes of a child & this poem jumped out:
My Dad
If I could write a story
It would be the greatest ever told
Of a kind and loving father
Who had a heart of gold
If I could write a million pages
But still be unable to say, just how
Much I love and miss him
Every single day
I will remember all he taught me
I'm hurt but won't be sad
‘coz he'll send me down the answers
And he'll always be MY DAD
PJ, See you later!!! Ruby xx

We absolutely adored this wonderful, humble person. PJ was a terrific example of what every human being should aspire to. Friendship, courage, understanding and good cheer is what PJ brought to every visit with all of us. We will miss PJs wisdom, wit and good spirit. God Bless us all as we keep his memory alive with great memories and testimony to the great guy he is. Heaven just received a great "four leaf clover". We should all be so blessed as to receive "the luck of this Irishman" while still in this lifetime. Rest in Peace our dear good friend, PJ.

You were quite the trip P.J. From me breaking your rib to you teaching me some frustrating riddles. We had our ups and downs but we always overcame the downs. We even made some good out of the bad at times! You are the one who encouraged me to try my hardest in school and showed me how much potential I really have. You also taught me how to swim, even though I'm no good. I got an A+ on my last quiz in school this week. It must've been you who took the test for me up in heaven! Last time I talked to you on the phone we talked about how we were going to have a party for you when you get better. That was a promise and it's still going to be kept. I'll see you soon and we will have that wild party we were discussing. God bless you P.J and may your gentle soul rest in heavenly peace. I better be your favorite granddaughter, young money!
