Obituary of Jorge A. Calderon

Jorge A. Calderon was born in Colombia, S.A.  on January 9, 1938 and passed away on May, 9, 2018.   He is survived by his loving wife, Carmen, to whom he was married for 51 years, his two daughters, Marta Helena and Yvonne, son in law, Rafael and three adoring grandsons, Julian, Lucas and Lorenzo.  Jorge lived a full life.  He was educated in a seminary in Colombia.  He came to this country as a young man and served as a Green Beret in the U. S. Army.  He then became a commercial and short film editor in NYC.   He loved the arts, including musicals, classical music and science fiction.   He enjoyed writing poetry for his grandsons and published a science fiction novel.   He tenderly cared for his family and was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He will be greatly missed.
