Obituary of Yvette Choo

Yvette Choo, 92, passed away peacefully at her home on June 2, 2018. She will be remembered by her children Dennis (Deborah), Francis (Joan), Giselle (James), Claude (Kathleen) and Philip, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and close family friend, Danny. Her husband Lian predeceased her in 2008.

She was born in Le Harve, France on April 30, 1926. She met her husband, a seaman with the SS United States, in a cafe that her family owned and although neither of them spoke the same language, they fell in love and married in 1953. She moved to New York and they eventually settled into their home in Forest Hills where she lovingly raised her children.

Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, June 5 from 5pm to 9pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., 98-07 Ascan Avenue, Forest Hills, NY.
