Ranajit Banerjee

Ranajit Banerjee passed away in peace on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the age of 78. He is predeceased by his wife of 37 years, Dipti. Loving father to Ayan and his wife, Poonam and Arnab and his partner, Roseanne. Proud grandfather of Arya and Anjalika. He is survived by his sister, Jhuma Chakraborty, and nephews, Partha and Pierre Chakraborty.

Ranajit will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving father who always had a smile on his face. He enjoyed gardening, good conversation, movies, music and philosophy. He was very charitable and always available to help others in need. He retired from Coney Island Medical Group after 25 years as an accountant.

He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

Visiting hours will be Sunday, July 29 from 2pm-5pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., 98-07 Ascan Avenue, Forest Hills, NY.

A funeral service  will be held 2:00 pm on Monday, July 30 at Fresh Pond Crematory, 61-40 Mount Olivet Crescent, Middle Village, NY.
