Lyudmyla V. Borovyk was born 09 August 1947, in Minkivtsy, Khmelnytsky region, Ukraine. Dad Vasiliy Alekseevich Borovyk, WW II Honor Veteran, all his life worked on the Executive posts, and Mother Olga Andriyivna Borovyk, a teacher by profession, worked as a Principal, a School District Superintendent, and was awarded one of the highest Ukrainian Awards in Teaching. Family moved to Kamyanets-Podilsky when Lyudmyla was still a little girl. Life was good but not easy. Earlier in school Lyudmyla decided to devote her life to Medicine and taking care of people. After graduating from the Medical College with a degree in Nursing, she passed admission tests to a Medical school with flying colors. In 1975 she graduated from Chernivtsi Medical Institute as an MD. In 1978 she completed Residency and became Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.  Work was demanding and the fate was not simple, a lot of hardship was experienced along the way. At the end of April 1986, the Ukrainian government called for help. As one of the first Doctors of the Mobile Assistance group Lyudmyla Borovyk went to the zone of the accident,  Chernobyl Nuclear Reactor #4, despite mortal danger from increased radiation in the large area of nuclear power station. The results of nuclear exposure with time became obvious, however until her last day she kept a beautiful smile and her unmatched optimism.

Her sharp and charming sense of humor repeatedly helped in many complex vital situations.

More than 30 years was spent working in Kamyanets-Podilskiy City Hospital and Emergency Services, day after day saving life after life. Honorary awards, commendations, articles in the newspapers, and people always thanked her. Many people all over the world continue to gratefully remember knowledgeable, caring and sensitive Doctor from God.

Lyudmyla Borovyk was an exemplary Citizen and a proud Patriot in every way.

She truly succeeded in life, in being the best Daughter, Sister, Wife, Aunt, Mother, Grandmother, Colleague and a Friend, and she is already dearly missed by many.

Everywhere she went people were drawn to this intelligent, witty and wise woman with a welcoming aura of kindness and understanding.

She had an amazing heart with enough love in it for all.

Rest In Peace Angel.
