John is my first cousin and we r closest in years being only one year apart. He, my brother Greg and I grew up together. John had a bow and arrow. On a bright sunny summer day we decided to shoot the arrow into the sky to see how high it would go. Almost immediately after John shot the arrow we were blinded by the sun and couldn’t see the arrow but we did know that what goes up must come down, so we started running to get into the house with our arms over our heads screaming all the way. The three of us were cousins, friends and partners in ridiculous behavior. That’s what we loved about John, he was game for anything. I miss him terribly. Maureen Kehoe
