I was a student of Mike’s while he was a teacher here in México City forty years ago. He is a reference in my life of what a kind person is and was very important to me. I learned from him strong values and convictions and he marked me as a person which is why he’ll always be in my heart. At almost 55 years old, I feel as if I’ve been left being an orphan so I am sad but at the same time I feel lucky to have had a teacher, friend, idol, and mentor like Mike. My classmates and I will never forget this marvelous teacher. Rest in peace dear Mike.
