Frank Moraga passed at the age of 93 on October 31, 2019 at 21:00 hours in his home surrounded by his love ones.
He was born on October 23, 1926 in Manhattan, to his mother, Elvira Moraga. His siblings are Lillian, Elena, George, Rose, Richie, and Edward.
Frank is survived by his wife Blanca, and daughter Iris.
Frank served in the United States Navy, and is a World War II veteran. He was on the last active voyage of the Intrepid as a Seaman First Class USNR.
Frank’s ancestors discovered the town of Moraga in California. He loved life and traveling the world with his family. He was a kind and extremely generous man.He donated to many charities, including the Veterans Association, and never asked for anything in return.
Frank was a private man who only allowed a few of us in. He lived his live with dignity, and he never complained about anything; even as a two-times cancer survivor who never lost site of what was important in his life. It was amazing to see his strength, and resilience.
Franky will be missed, but we will carry what he taught us through our lives until the day we see him again.
