John "Johnny Flip" Fitapelli

A self made man,with an angel on is shoulder. Born on the lower eastside of NYC, Oldest son, in a family of 7. He protected & guarded his family like a pitbull. Even in his 90's he was a guardian & driving force to family & all who had the privilege & honor to meet him. US Navy at 17 on to the South Pacific. Married the love of his life forever, Grace. A business man his whole life from running bingo games at 12 years old to Bars in NYC, Restaurants, Night Clubs,Trucking co.'s,,Fight Promoter at Sunnyside Gardens. His motto: "it was the big shot who was the little shot who kept shooting". He was a man who can make  life move. Like the Frank Sinatra song He did it HIS WAY !  He will be missed but no way forgotten by friends,family & most of all his son's Pat & Johnny Jr.
