Mary (Sue) Davis, 82 of Forest Hills, NY passed away on May 13th at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY

Visitation will be held at Fox Funeral Home in Forest Hills, NY  on Monday May 17th from 2-5PM and 7-9PM.  Funeral Services will be held at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church in Forest Hills, NY on Tuesday, May 18th at 10:30AM.

Sue was born in Scranton, PA to Mildred and Charles Taylor on January 6, 1939. Sue was a humble person who probably didn’t share with many that she was on Broadway as a child. She later turned her career to rearing 6 children.  In addition, she proudly worked as a personal assistant to Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan’s campaign finance committee until he retired. Sue was an avid reader. She enjoyed playing tennis in her younger years.  She loved completing the New York Times Sunday crossword puzzle, watching Jeopardy, playing bridge and any other activities that stimulated her amazing mind.  She was an amazing mother and grandmother who took great pride in her family and their accomplishments.

Sue  is survived by her 6 extremely grateful and indebted children, Richard, Chris, Robert, Michele, Thomas and Deirdre and their spouses as well as her 13 grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard (Dick), brother, Charles (Chuck) and her parents, Mildred and Charles.
