Obituary of Byron Anibal Mosquera

Please share a memory of Byron to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Byron Anibal Mosquera, age 62 was born in Quito, Ecuador. Byron was preceded in death by his beloved parents Doctor Estuardo Mosquera and Ines Jaramillo Mosquera.

Though a proud Ecuadorian, Byron looked to forge his own path and moved to New York City where he met and married his wife Luisa.  Together they built a life and became a loving family.

Byron had many friends and interests. However his heart and focus was always his family. He was most proud of being a husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin and grandparent. A man from  two countries, tirelessly finding ways to bring his family closer by being in constant contact with all whom he loved. His happiest and most cherished moments involved any activity with his family. Byron will always be remembered as having a loving and generous heart.  He is survived by his wife Luisa, his son Kevin, his step-daughter Gina, son-in law Carlos Guerra, and grandsons Mitchell and Russell; his sisters Katiwshka, Monseratte, Jaffa; nieces and nephews and many cousins. We will always be grateful for his love and teaching us to live in the moment.
