To my most cherished friend Shirley,
God created you to shine in my life. Your strength lifted me up when I was down. Your love guided me to be the best version of myself. As we say our goodbyes, I ask why God took away so soon someone who has touched so many lives with kindness and self-sacrifice? I realize now that you needed to be in better place. A place free of pain and suffering so you can continue to shine even brighter for all of us left behind. I take comfort knowing your heart is healed as you reunite with your father, beloved husband and angel sister. I will miss you dearly. Even though you are gone, I will continue to look for your light that shines path leading me back to you.
