Emilio Jose Ballestas was Born to Mercedes Barraza and Fernando Ballestas on September 17,1957 in Barranquilla, Colombia. He was a brother to 5 siblings Isabel, Jorge, José, Ilde, Anita and Oscar for whom he cared for very deeply.Emilio departed this earthly life on December 5th, 2022 at the age of 65. 

He Met the mother of his children,  Luz Hernandez at York college, and They had Two children (Anthony Ballestas and John Ballestas).

Emilio worked most of his life as a driver, and his biggest passion was being able move forward. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, and had very close relationships to his family back home with with he grew up with and always kept close.
