Jonathan David White was born to Jacqueline Wright and Harry Beaumont White in Monterey, California.  He grew up in Berkley California and graduated from Berkley High School where his mother taught for over 20 years.  Jon moved to the East coast and went on to graduate from Dartmouth University in New Hampshire.  Jon moved to New York City in the 1980’s where he met and later married Santa Cruz.  They shared two children, Stefan Alejandro Q. White and Gabriel Antonio Q. White and raised them in Queens, NY.  Jon spent his professional career working in city government finance and education.  Jon loved life, adventure, music and history.
