Obituary of Francisca Martinez

Francisca Martinez was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Cenacle for over 50 years.  All of her children did their sacraments here. Oscar and Francisca even renewed their vows at OLC for their 40^th anniversary. Francisca was part of the Charismatic group and she started with the Cursillista group in 2005.  She loved going on marriage retreats with the Sacred Family group and even travelled to the Holy Land twice with Mauricio the deacon and the OLC tour group. After her husband died, she decided to be married only to Jesus.  The church was her joy and her life. She had the opportunity to talk to many people in the parish and was able to help them with advice and hope through their challenges.  Her goal was to inspire them with the word of God and to know without a doubt that God is working in their lives as long as they include God by praying, reading the bible, doing good works for others, but most importantly to unconditionally trust in Him. Francisca will be missed by countless people.  Her labor of Love will bear many fruits through God’s mysterious ways.  She is survived by her 2 daughters,  her son and 4 grandchildren. May she rest in peace. Amen.
