It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Aracelis Pagan on May 11, 2023. Aracelis also known as "Chelly or Ari" was born on November 30, 1969. Chelly will be remembered for her bubbly, dependable , self-less, and devoted personality.
Aracelis is survived by her loving husband, Juan Pagan Jr.; her mother, Isabel Sanchez; her father, Juan Sanchez; her niece Natalia Rosero, her mother-in-law, Isabel Pagan; her sister-in-law, Miriam Pagan; and her cousin, David Velez. She was predeceased by her sisters, Brenda Weatherhead and Jeannette Sanchez, and her aunt and uncle, Elena and Victor Velez.
Chelly had a passion for life and enjoyed a variety of activities. A fan of Dancing with the Stars, she could often be found dancing to her favorite tunes. Dancing brought her immense joy and kept her happy and healthy. We all loved to see her energy on the dance floor.
Her love for travel & beautiful waters led her to favorite destinations like Jamaica & Puerto Rico. A devoted Mets fan, she also enjoyed watching her favorite team play under bright blue skies with her family.
Chelly's legacy of kindness, generosity, and patience will live on through her loved ones. She was an inspiration to many, never giving up even when the cards were stacked against her & those she loved. One of her greatest accomplishments was her true devotion to her husband's care and recovery.
Ari’s radiant spirit and contagious enthusiasm will be deeply missed by her loving husband, family, and friends. Her life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and the importance of cherishing each moment. Rest in peace, Aracelis. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
