Carol-Gaye, I have so many memories of you. From the first time Uncle Slatel brought you and Janice to London as children, to spending my summer holiday with you all in Jamaica, later on the laughter of many visits to you in New York and long, long conversations on the phone.
What I admire most about you is your openness, boldness, and your courage to speak your mind. You cared and you loved wholeheartedly. For me you were and will continue to be an inspiration. You have left a great legacy with all who know and love you.
I miss you so much and you will live on in my heart and in my thoughts always.

Carol-Gaye will always be remembered for her laughter and caring ways. In our younger days we practiced all the latest dance moves in front of the mirror before trying them out in public. We lost touch when she migrated. Gone but not forgotten. Condolences to her sons, parents, sisters and other family members.
Sleep in Eternal Peace Carol-Gaye.

Deepest condolences to Kristof, Yannic, and the Morris Family. Auntie Carol-Gaye, my favorite memory of you is our field work busting the catering bandits at Nicole's baby shower. Among many things, you will be missed for your warmth, humor, and your beautiful Jamaican lilt.
Love,

God saw her getting tired
A cure was not to be
So he wrapped her in His loving arms
And Whispered “come to Me”
She suffered much in silence
Her Spirit did not bend.
She faced her pain with Courage
Until the very end, she tried so hard
To stay with us, Her fight was all in vain
God took her to His Loving Home
And freed Her from all pain.
FOREVER REMEMBERD AND LOVED ✝️

Carol-Gaye and I went to St. George's Girls' School together and then we left in 1970 to St. Hugh's where the journey continued for another 5 years. We have not seen each other for years but I have wonderful memories of my friend which have never left me. She was full of fun, laughter and happiness as a teenager. We had fun at high school together. Carol was not a swimmer so she was in the group learning to swim in the shallow end of the school's pool. The good swimmers were in the deep end and Carol decided to jump in thinking that no challenge was too great for her. We tried to get her but the teacher told us to move out of the way as Carol panicked and was all over the place with arms flapping as she tried to swim. Our teacher jumped in and took her to safety. Carol did not appear to be phased by the experience as in true Carol style, she tried! We were more traumatised than she was. Rest in Eternal Peace my schoolmate and friend.
