Michael (Mike) Samuel Bifalco, son of Rafaella and Benjamin, age 95 entered into eternal rest and peace on January 14, 2024 after a short illness at his home in Dover, DE.

Mike was born April 10th, 1928 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. He met his future wife and love of his life Bernie at a dancehall in 1954. After a 2 year courtship they married on May 12, 1956 and planted their roots and raised their family in Forest Hills, Queens.  Mike enjoyed taking Bernie on trips to Ireland, Italy and to see friends and family across the US. 

Mike followed his dad (Benjamin) and his brother Sam's passion and love for building. He worked as a bricklayer early on and then as a superintendant until he retired at the age of 70. Mike was an avid sports fan, he loved the NY Giants, Yankees and Mets, not to mention horse racing and golf.

He was a devout Catholic and was very active at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Forest Hills. He was a good hearted person, he would do anything he could to help a person in need, family, friends or even an acquaintance. He will be missed by many.

He is survived by his daughter Kathleen (Bill) Steigleider, son Michael and grandchilden, Neal, Philip, Noel, Michael Jr., Samantha, 10 great grandchildren and his sister Gertrude.  He was the youngest of 5 siblings, preceded in death by his beloved wife Bernie, brother Samuel and sisters Josephine and Antoinette.

The family will receive visitors on Sunday, January 21st from 3 - 7pm at Fox Funeral Home 
98-07 Ascan Ave, Forest Hills, Queens. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, January 22 at 10am at Our Lady of Mercy Church 70-01 Kessel St, Forest Hills. His final resting place will follow Mass at Maple Grove Cemetery 83-15 Kew Gardens Rd., Kew Gardens.
