Eduardo J Alvarez, affectionally known as Papa to his family, of Forest Hills/Garden City, passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 25th 2024 at the age of 96. Papa was born on January 21, 1928 in Buenos Aires Argentina. He was pre-deceased by his wife Leonor (nee Castillo) in 2013 and leaves behind his beloved daughters Cristina Kilberg and Leonor Garrity, his son in laws, Aaron and Edward and his five grandchildren, Daniel, John, Mary, William and Peter., as well as extended families in Argentina, the Dominican Republic. He was loved by all who met him and left an indelible mark in everyone’s heart. He lived life to the fullest and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
